What we collect on this website
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records basic request data, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you view.
- Emails you send us. If you email us for early access, we keep your email address and your message so we can write back.
This website uses no analytics or advertising cookies. It loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when your browser requests them.
What we collect through the text service
- Your mobile number and a record that you opted in or opted out.
- What you send us, including your screenshots, the text in them, and your character choices.
- The sender's information, including the sender's phone number, messages, and anything else they send to our number.
- The conversation between the sender and the character.
How we use it
- To run the service, including reading screenshots, writing character replies, and sending messages.
- To answer you, keep the service working, and honor STOP requests.
- To publish conversations after we remove phone numbers and last names and try to remove other personal details.
- To prevent abuse, follow the law, and protect our rights.
Mobile information and text message consent
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data and consent will not be shared or sold to third parties, affiliates, or lead generators. Sharing with subcontractors who support the service, such as our text message provider, is permitted. This section overrides anything else in this policy.
Who else we share information with
We share other information with the service providers who help us run SpamTextFun. They include our hosting provider, our email provider, and our AI provider. We also share information when the law requires it, or to protect people or our rights. A buyer of the business could receive it as part of a sale, subject to the section above.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep information for as long as we need it to run the service, keep records of opt-ins and opt-outs, and follow the law. We keep STOP records so we can keep honoring them.
Your choices
Reply STOP to unsubscribe from our texts. To see, correct, or delete your information, or to ask us to take down a published conversation, email support@spamtextfun.com. Some states give you additional privacy rights, and we honor those rights where they apply. If you disagree with a decision we make about your request, email us and we will review it again.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections to this website. No system is perfectly secure, so please leave sensitive information out of what you send us.
Children
SpamTextFun is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and we will delete it if we learn that we did.
Changes
We will post any update here and change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will give you reasonable notice.
