Terms of Service
Last updated: November 4, 2026
The short version
SpamTextFun lets you hand a spam text to an AI character who answers the spammer. Only send us texts you really received. Keep it silly, and leave real people out of it. We are not your lawyers. If you plan to sue a spammer, talk to a lawyer before you use SpamTextFun on that text. This summary is here to help you, and the full terms below are what count.
1. Who we are
SpamTextFun is operated by Lost Property Finder, LLC, an Illinois limited liability company, at 2045 W Grand Ave Ste B PMB 71442, Chicago, IL 60612. "We," "us," and "our" mean Lost Property Finder, LLC. By using spamtextfun.com or our text service, you agree to these terms. If you disagree with them, please stop using SpamTextFun.
2. What SpamTextFun is
SpamTextFun is an entertainment service. You send us a spam text you received, you pick an AI character, and that character can trade texts with the sender if the sender texts our number.
We are opening the text service in early access, by invitation. These terms cover the website and the text service. We may change or remove features at any time.
3. Who can use it
You must be at least 18, live in the United States, and use a phone number that you own or are allowed to use.
4. Text messages
- How you opt in. You opt in by texting JOIN to our number, as described on our text message program page. Doing so means you agree to receive automated text messages from SpamTextFun about the spam you send us, including character choices, links to your conversations, and service notices.
- Consent is your choice. Joining is optional. You can read this website and email us without agreeing to receive texts, and agreeing is never a condition of buying anything.
- Frequency and cost. You will get up to 5 messages for each spam text you send us. Message and data rates may apply.
- Stopping. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe. We will send one message to confirm. Reply HELP for help, or email support@spamtextfun.com.
- Delivery. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Your information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy.
5. What you send us
Send us only texts that you really received, on a phone you are allowed to use. You keep ownership of what you send. You give us a worldwide, royalty-free license to store it, process it with AI and other service providers, run the service with it, and publish it as described in section 8. Please leave out passwords, account numbers, health details, and other sensitive information, including anything that appears in your screenshot.
6. Rules for using SpamTextFun
You agree that you will not:
- Use SpamTextFun on anyone you know, on a real customer, on someone you have a dispute with, or on any person or business that has a legitimate reason to contact you, such as your bank, doctor, or a debt collector.
- Use it to harass, threaten, stalk, or embarrass anyone, or to flood anyone with messages.
- Submit a text you made up or altered, or pretend to be someone else.
- Break the law, or try to break, overload, or copy the service.
We can refuse a submission, end a conversation, or close your access at any time, including when we think a text was not spam.
7. The characters and the first message
- Characters only reply. Each time someone texts our number, a character sends one text back. A character never texts anyone first and never sends two texts in a row. Its first reply says it is an AI assistant, gives your first name, and explains how to opt out.
- Characters are fictional. Characters are made-up AI personalities. What they say is comedy and is not a statement of fact, an offer, or a promise by you or by us. AI can get things wrong or say something odd, and we cannot review every message before it is sent.
- You send the first message. Our link fills in a message on your phone, and you choose whether to send it. You are responsible for that message and for what you send from your phone.
- Spoofed numbers happen. Spammers sometimes fake their numbers, so a number on a spam text can belong to an innocent person. A character stops when someone texts STOP or tells it that it has the wrong number.
- Replying has risks. A reply can confirm that your number works, and you might get more texts because of it. Blocking the sender is your decision, and it only works as well as your phone's blocking tools do.
8. What we publish
We may publish conversations on our website and on social media, including the spam text and the character's replies. Before we publish, we remove phone numbers and last names, and we try to remove other personal details. If you see something about you that you want taken down, email support@spamtextfun.com and we will review it promptly.
9. We are not your lawyers
We are not a law firm, and nothing on SpamTextFun is legal advice. Using SpamTextFun creates no lawyer-client relationship. Laws such as the Telephone Consumer Protection Act may or may not give you a claim, and we make no promise that you can sue anyone or win any money.
Answering a sender, or having a character answer, could hurt a claim you might have. If you are thinking about legal action, talk to a lawyer first, and save your own copy of the original text.
10. Who we are not connected to
We are not affiliated with Apple, any mobile carrier, or any company or person who appears in a text or a screenshot on our site, and none of them endorse us. Names and marks belong to their owners.
11. Prices
The website is free. If we ever charge for SpamTextFun, we will show you the price and the billing terms before you pay anything.
12. Our stuff
We own the SpamTextFun name, the website, the characters, and the software. You may share links and screenshots of published conversations for personal, non-commercial fun. Please ask us before using them any other way.
13. No warranties
SPAMTEXTFUN IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not promise that the service will always work, that it will reduce your spam, or that any character will fool anyone.
14. Limits on our liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR LOST DATA. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. Some states do not allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
15. If your use gets us in trouble
You agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses, including lawyers' fees, from any third-party claim caused by your breaking these terms or the law, or by a message you sent. This section applies to the extent the law allows.
16. Resolving disputes
Please read this section carefully, because it affects your right to go to court.
- Talk to us first. Email support@spamtextfun.com and give us 30 days to try to fix the problem.
- Arbitration. If we cannot work it out, you and we agree to resolve the dispute through binding individual arbitration run by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. You can take part by phone or video, or in the county where you live.
- Exceptions. Either side can bring an individual case in small claims court. Either side can also ask a court to stop misuse of intellectual property.
- No class actions. You and we each give up the right to a jury trial and to bring or join a class action. If a court finds this class action waiver unenforceable for a claim, that claim goes to court and the rest stays in arbitration.
- Opting out. You can opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first accepting these terms. Email support@spamtextfun.com with your name, your phone number, and a statement that you opt out.
Illinois law governs these terms, apart from its conflict-of-law rules, and the Federal Arbitration Act governs the arbitration agreement. Consumer protection rights in your home state that cannot be waived still apply to you. Any case that goes to court, other than small claims, belongs in the state or federal courts in Cook County, Illinois.
17. Changes and ending
We may update these terms and will post the new date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will give you reasonable notice. Using SpamTextFun after a change means you accept it. You can stop anytime by replying STOP. Sections that should reasonably continue after you stop, such as sections 9 and 13 through 16, will continue.
18. The rest
These terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about SpamTextFun. If a court strikes part of these terms, the rest stays in place. If we do not enforce a term right away, we can still enforce it later. You cannot transfer these terms to someone else, but we can transfer them as part of a sale or reorganization of the business.
